I am a highly experienced and responsible caregiver who helps young people grow into compassionate, curious, and confident humans. I studied human development at the NC State School of Education and , more importantly, have 37 years experience as a home educator and parent. I have experience with special needs as well as neuro typical and gifted children. I delight in providing opportunities for children to learn and grow and have facilitated learning through both one-on-one, small group, and cooperative learning groups. I am a warm, cheerful, and patient caregiver who expertly engages children where they are developmentally, but always has a vision of where they are going, as well. My youngest is leaving for college soon and I would love to share my passion for education with your children. I know how to make learning fun and to empower small humans as they discover their own capacity.
