Hi, I’m Tra! I’m a 24 year old professional residing in Downtown Durham, NC. I’m a high school graduate, certified and excelling well in my career as a phlebotomist, and I have about 7 years of paid childcare experience. I’m not a parent myself, but I am the oldest of 4 kids, so caretaking has been on my resume since before I hit puberty! I’ve cared for infants and school-age children, and love focusing on the best ways to ensure their healthy development, whether that be putting on musicals and singing Frozen songs to painting masterpieces for Mom and Dad. I’ve been known to engage with children in the best way that I know how, and that’s with laughter! I am CPR/First-Aid certified for adults and children/infants. I’m very comfortable with pets, as I have a wonderful German Shepherd mix who is 2 1/2 years old and just recently adopted a Lab mix who is 7 months old.
