I love being a sitter because I genuinely love being around children and being a positive person in their lives. I’m the oldest of six siblings, so caring for kids has always been a big part of my life. I love all of my siblings, and growing up helping take care of them taught me patience, responsibility, kindness, and how important it is for children to feel safe, loved, and understood. I enjoy making kids smile, keeping them entertained, helping them learn, and being someone they can trust. It would make me happy to give other families the same care and attention I give my I have several years of hands on experience caring for my six younger siblings. I’ve helped with meals, cleaning, keeping them entertained, helping with routines, and making sure they are safe and comfortable. I understand that every child has their own personality, needs, and interests, and I’m willing to take the time to get to know each child and make them feel comfortable with me. I’m caring, patient, responsible, hardworking, and a fast learner. I’m comfortable preparing simple meals, helping with cleanup, organizing activities, keeping children engaged, and following a family’s routines and instructions. I’m also a good listener and communicator, and I understand how important it is to keep parents updated and respect their expectations. While my biggest experience comes from caring for my siblings, it has given me real-life experience with children and taught me how much responsibility comes with caring for someone else’s child. My goal is always to make sure children feel safe, happy, respected, and cared for while their parents are away.
