I’m a creative mom looking for work now that my girls, ages 15 and 12, don’t need me as much. I love to read and cook. I love helping kids shine through arts and crafts. I crochet and sew my own clothes. I have guided numerous kids at different skill and interest levels through different crafts at my kids’ classroom parties over the years. I have raised two avid readers in my home. I am skilled at choosing engaging books for kids at various reading levels and I enjoy reading aloud. I am flexible by nature but prefer to establish a routine. I am kind, patient, understanding, and silly. I do have high expectations for behavior. I believe in teaching kids personal responsibility. I love taking walks and getting out in nature. I enjoy trips to the library, playgrounds, and the museums our city has to offer. My family is Read more originally from out of state. Kids tend to like me because I treat them as individuals and I don’t talk down to them like other adults might.
