Hi! My name is Janiah, and I am a registered Behavioral Technician. I have several years of experience working with children of different ages, abilities, personalities, and behavioral needs. I genuinely enjoy working with children and creating an environment where they feel safe, comfortable, supported, and able to be themselves. My professional childcare experience includes working as a Youth Development Professional with school-age children, where I supervise both small and large groups, plan activities, assist with homework, manage transitions, communicate with families, and maintain a safe and structured environment. I am experienced with maintaining appropriate child-to-staff ratios, completing headcounts, supervising field trips, and responding calmly and appropriately when unexpected situations arise.
