I love children and have a special ability to deal with behavioral issues, always done in a positive and loving attitude but the children learn they can't get away with things and manipulate me. I connect with them mentally and emotionally and we talk about life and what it takes to grow up and have a good life. Having worked some in a daycare I can turn a room full of problematic children into well-behaved children who enjoy their time with me, never using negative emotions or intimidation. They develop an understanding of what their present decisions and behaviors, good or bad, create for their future. Corporal punishment is not needed in my picture, just consistency and something unpleasant for them to experience when they make wrong decisions. During my time with the kids the atmosphere is pleasant and fun and the kids are well behaved. I have my cleet license for security so I have training in first aid and thorough background checks. I also have written references from families I've worked for and in security I have done numerous shifts of crowd control of children and teenagers, successfully keeping activities under control and all in a positive atmosphere. I also know how to stop fit throwing and temper tantrums in very small children down to one year of age. I can choose the shifts I work in security so I can be available for child care as temporary or fill in help or even long term help. I am very responsible and mature, so I show up and do my job.
