I love being a sitter because I’ve always had a soft spot for kids. I like being someone they feel safe and comfortable around, but also someone they can laugh and have fun with. Whether it’s playing games, helping with homework, or just talking to them about their day, I genuinely enjoy being that kind of support. It’s just a good feeling knowing I can be trusted to take care of someone’s child and create a calm, happy space for them. Most of my experience comes from babysitting for family and close family friends. I’ve watched kids of all different ages, and I’ve handled things like snacks, bedtime routines, school pickups, and just keeping them entertained. I might not have an official job title or certification, but I’ve learned a lot through real-life, hands-on experience — and that’s honestly the best teacher.
