Hi! My name is Joy, and I’m a nursing student with a big heart for kids and a strong interest in pediatric care. I’m currently working toward my BSN and plan to graduate in December 2026. I’ve always loved caring for others, and working with children, especially newborns and infants, has become something I’m truly passionate about. I’ve worked in the NICU at Community East Hospital since March 2023, where I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for premature and medically fragile babies. I also work in the emergency department at Eskenazi Hospital, supporting patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment. Last summer, I worked as an overnight nanny for a newborn baby boy, where I handled feedings, bottle cleaning, safe sleep, and provided detailed updates to his parents. I also guided the family through swaddling, diaper sizing, diaper rash care, early sleep training, and supported the mom through her pumping Read more journey. I’m CPR certified, very familiar with safe sleep protocols, and confident in caring for infants and young children. I’m also happy to help with light housekeeping like laundry, tidying up, or errands. I really enjoy building trust with the families I work with and creating a calm, supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable. I'd love the chance to get to know your family!
