Hi Meagan, I'd be happy to take care of your baby Henry while you attend the wedding. I don't have a bio posted since I recently lost my father and am heading back to work; so I'll tell you a bit about myself and leave a number for you to contact me, if you'd like. My field is Social Work. I've spent most of my career in Child Protective Services, but also have done some work with Hospice and have spent quite a bit of time working with the deaf, as well. I came out of the work force 8 yrs ago to take care of my mother and father, who were both stricken with separate terminal diseases. My mother had glioblastoma and my father suffered from Parkinsons. It was a privilege to take care of them and I wouldn't trade it for anything, but the time outside the work Read more force has left me needing to pull in some extra income; so the opportunity to babysit for you while I await the start of my job with Child Protective is welcomed. I have raised four children of my own...one daughter who is now 31 yrs old and three sons, aged 29, 27 and 25. My daughter has twin 3 yr old boys, who are the apple of my eye. I'm also eagerly awaiting the arrival of my first granddaughter, due in early Feb. I'm very comfortable with children of all ages and particularly enjoy babies the age of Henry. There's nothing I've loved more than being a mom, so stepping in to care for other's babies comes natural to me and brings me joy. I'm also happy to care for the golden retrievers, Actually hoping to get a golden retriever or golden retriever/great pyrenees mix soon.
