Greetings! My name is Amanda. I am a certified early childhood teacher with more than 18 years in the classroom. Currently, I am a Registered Behavior Technician and work primarily with preschool children who have autism. I am a mother of a young teenage daughter and a son who has a diagnosis of ADHD combined and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. I truly have a lot of patience in the classroom and in my own home. I have a true passion for helping children learn and grow. I enjoy engaging in their play and engaging their minds to continue their development. While also taking care of necessary life tasks, I can also help tutor, if they need extra help in academic areas. My background as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) has allowed me to gain a plethora of skills in behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement techniques. As an RBT, I apply Read more ABA strategies daily. If you are looking for someone who is fun, dedicated, timely and has strong communication skills, I would love to meet you. I am looking for summer work. My schedule varies in June. In June I am looking for afternoon availability from 12:30 - 4:00 (or later if needed), Monday - Thursday. I am available every Friday in June from 7:00-4:00 (or later if needed). In July, I am available full time Monday through Friday from 7:00-4:00 (or later if needed).
