Hi Sittercity Families, My name is Sarah, and I recently relocated from a small town in New Jersey to Wilmington, North Carolina, to be closer to my family. I previously worked as a 911 Emergency Dispatcher, a role that strengthened my ability to stay calm under pressure, think quickly, and care deeply for others—qualities I naturally carry into my work as a nanny. Caring for children has always been my true passion. Starting at just 13 years old, I volunteered through my church, providing childcare, which quickly grew into opportunities to work with multiple families over the years. I’ve also been involved in children’s organizations and volunteer work, including JLBC, SRT, and global mission trips, all of which deepened my love for supporting and guiding young minds.
