Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because caring for others comes naturally to me. I genuinely enjoy helping people feel safe, comfortable, and cared for—especially when they’re vulnerable or in need of support. Whether it’s providing companionship, emotional reassurance, or just being present to assist with small tasks, I find a lot of meaning in being someone families and individuals can rely on. I take pride in being calm, patient, and responsible, and I always aim to bring a positive and caring energy into someone’s space. What experience do you have? I’ve had hands-on experience both informally and through training. I’ve helped care for younger siblings and elderly family members, and I’ve spent time volunteering in community health settings. What skills and training do you have? I’m currently 19 years old and in college studying to become a Medical Assistant. Through my coursework, I’ve gained training in vital signs, basic first aid, infection control, patient communication, and healthcare ethics. I’ve learned how to remain professional in clinical settings, follow safety procedures, and adapt to individual patient needs. My studies are helping me build a strong medical foundation while also deepening my passion for one-on-one care. I’m also trained in CPR and understand the importance of quick thinking and clear judgment during emergencies. In addition to my medical background, I’m extremely organized, punctual, and dependable. I’m someone who listens carefully, respects boundaries, and can stay calm under pressure. I take pride in being trustworthy and kind, and I always strive to create a peaceful and supportive environment wherever I’m working.
