Meet Natya

Hi! My name is Natya Powell, and I’m an experienced and caring childcare provider with over 4 years of hands-on experience working with young children. I graduated high school in 2019 and began college studying Early Childhood Development, where I gained a strong foundation in child growth, safety, and learning (I paused my studies during COVID). I worked at Alexandria Angel Academy for 3 years, primarily in the infant room and with one-year-olds, building strong skills in nurturing, routines, and developmental milestones. I only left due to relocating to Louisiana. After moving, I worked at Parkview for 8 months before transitioning to a role with the Louisiana Department of Education, further expanding my knowledge of early education standards and child development. I am currently enrolled in school working toward my Teaching degree (AS 1–5). I am also 5 months pregnant, which has deepened my passion for providing a safe, loving, Read more and structured environment for children. I am currently looking for babysitting opportunities, preferably in my home. I am patient, reliable, and truly enjoy helping children learn, grow, and feel comfortable.
