Are you looking for a mature sitter with medical experience who loves interacting with kids? Then we might be a great match! I love working with families and children, and now that my youngest is 18, I have more time and energy to help other families. Before becoming a parent myself, I worked as a Firefighter / Emergency Medical Technician, taught CPR, worked as a camp counselor, and was a lifeguard / waterfront director so I'll always have an eye on you kid(s)' safety and well being. In more recent years, in addition to parenting I have served others through my work as a personal trainer, massage therapist, and wellness coach with focus on plant-based nutrition so you know that I will love to help make your kids healthy snacks and plant based meals plus encourage them in their sports / activities. (I have my own grown child with food Read more allergies so you know I'll keep your child safe.) For younger children, I love sitting down to read a book, create an art project, or learn something fun together. I'm happy to carry your baby in a sling, sing together, and make sure that they feel safe and loved. I love going to the playground in the sunshine, water activities in the summer, and am happy to play in the snow in the winter. I would love to include your family pets in activities and make sure that they are well-cared for. In my spare time, I foster pups and volunteer at the Humane Society so I feel comfortable around animals and kids. I look forward to meeting you and your family.
