High school Math Teacher experienced with military families. During my undergraduate years (2009-2013), I was a full time nanny for a family for two years to a military family. I’m not opposed to nannying, but because of my teaching schedule, I have strict hours. Before accepting a job, I like to sit down with families in a familiar environment for the child/ren to observe and have introductory conversations. To me, it doesn’t matter how much the parents like me, I care about the child’s comfort with me.
