I am very family oriented, I grew up with two sets of families which meant always being surrounded by kids either my age, older or younger. As I got older I would help sit or always be the one appointed to look after the kids and I've loved it ever since. Other than watching kids since I was little I babysat a family members toddler for a few months while in between jobs. I also spent some time as a resident assistant and although elders and children are different I was required to clean up messes, have an ample amount of patience, stay on top of scheduling, perform under pressure as well as regulate emotions. My time in childcare is limited however I am very capable of ensuring safety and fun interactive engagement for any children i'd be in charge of taking care of.
