We are looking for a babysitter to help with our autistic son. He is a wonderful kid but has some special requirements such as he is not potty-trained and can make a big mess when eating. He sometimes is in his own world and so things that would normally be safe for a child can be dangerous for him. For example if he is on the sidewalk going for a walk with us he might just run off (elope) into the street. He is an incredibly smart and gifted kid but he cannot verbally speak. His main method of communication is hand-leading where he will take you by the hand to show you what he wants. As a young boy, this is often to the fridge (for snacks) and he will lead you to the refrigerator and then bring your hand up to the thing he would like for his snack.

We have three boys. Our autistic son is the oldest (7), and the other two are 5 and 1. We would like to have someone who can take care of all 3 boys.
