We are looking for a kind, patient, and understanding caregiver for our 7-year-old. Our son is neurodivergent, and we are seeking someone who understands or shares similar experiences. Ideally, our caregiver is also neurodivergent, or at the very least familiar with neurodiversity and supportive approaches.
About us: We are a family of 3, plus four cats. Mom works from home full-time. Our son loves space, animals (especially his cats), and is generally a homebody. He is hyperverbal and hyperlexic, but needs help with dressing, hygiene, and nervous system regulation. We're a progressive household that values equity, inclusivity, and respect for all people. We prioritize emotional safety, curiosity, and open communication.
We need part-time care, roughly 24 hours per week, M/W/F. Help with light housekeeping is a plus! Please have at least 2 years experience and 2 professional references.
