Nanny/Respite Provider

Position Overview
This is a unique hybrid opportunity that combines respite care services with traditional nanny support.
The selected candidate must either:
- Be eligible to become an Independent Respite Provider through our HCBS provider agency, or
- Be willing and eligible to become employed through our current HCBS respite agency, or already be employed through an HCBS provider agency and able to have respite hours transferred to support our family.
Approximately 25 hours per week may be funded through respite services, with additional weekend hours paid privately by the family.
Qualifications Required:
- Female nanny or caregiver
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Experience working with autistic and/or neurodiverse children a plus
- Comfortable supporting sensory, behavioral, and communication differences
- Patient, dependable, and highly trustworthy
- Christian values and faith-aligned approach to caregiving
- Ability to pass all required background checks
Preferred:
- Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Article 9 Training
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or related coursework
- Previous experience as a respite provider, behavioral health technician, paraprofessional, nanny, or caregiver
Schedule:
Fridays & Sundays - 10:00AM to 8:00PM
Saturdays - 6:00pm to 10:00PM
Compensation:
- Up to 25 hours/week funded through HCBS respite services (subject to agency approval)
- Additional hours paid privately by the family at $20/hour
- Opportunity for consistent, ongoing weekend employment
