I’m looking for an experienced, patient, and compassionate special needs caregiver to care for my 7-year-old daughter for one night so I can enjoy some much-needed personal time. My daughter is blind/visually impaired and has some complex medical needs, so I need someone who is comfortable caring for children with disabilities and willing to learn her specific routines and needs. She may need assistance with feeding through her Mic-Key button, following her medication schedule, and making sure she is safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout the night. I’m looking for someone dependable, attentive, gentle, and confident communicating with me about her care. Experience with medically complex children, feeding tubes, and medication routines is a plus. Most importantly, I want someone who will treat my daughter with kindness, respect, and patience while giving me the reassurance that she is in good hands.
