We are seeking a compassionate and attentive individual to provide support for a 19-year-old with special needs during daily outings, activities, and lunch. The role focuses on ensuring safety, comfort, and social inclusion while promoting independence.
**Responsibilities**
* Accompany the individual to social outings, activities, and lunch.
* Provide one-on-one support, with special attention to opening snacks, drinks, or other small assistance as needed.
* Monitor and check in regularly to ensure the individual’s well-being and comfort.
* Maintain a positive and respectful presence in environments where other individuals with special needs may be present (note: responsibility is solely for the assigned individual).
* Collaborate and communicate with the Program Director, who will also be present on-site.
* Serve as a “floating support” — available, attentive, and responsive as needed.
* Experience working with individuals with special needs (preferred but not required).
