Behavioral Respite / Companion for Young Adult with Autism – Part-Time

- $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

We are hiring caring and reliable individuals to join Team Andy through IABA. Andy is 23 with level 3 autism. He is tall, strong, and kind – a gentle giant who loves beads, structured routines, and outings. Andy requires 2:1 support at all times.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct support at home and in the community
- Assist with hygiene prompts, meals, and safety reminders
- Prevent elopement (Andy may run off unexpectedly)
- Support Andy’s bead keychain business
- Engage Andy positively, talk with him, and invite him into activities
- Work with another staff as a team
Schedule: 20–30 hours per week, flexible shifts (6:00am–8:30pm)
Requirements:
- 18+, patient, dependable
- Willing to complete IABA onboarding
- Physically able to walk, monitor, and stay alert
