We are seeking a reliable, patient, and caring nanny/babysitter to provide after-school care for a child with special needs. The caregiver will be responsible for picking up the child from school every other Friday at 2:00 PM and providing attentive care until 6:00 PM.
Child Information:
• Child has autism
• Non-verbal
• Uses diapers
• Snacks will be provided
Responsibilities:
• Pick up child from school safely and on time
• Provide attentive and compassionate care
• Change diapers as needed
• Offer provided snacks and drinks
• Engage in calm, safe, and appropriate activities
• Ensure child’s safety at all times
• Communicate with parent/guardian about any concerns or updates
Qualifications:
• Experience with children, preferably special needs or autism
• Patient, dependable, and nurturing personality
• Ability to handle diaper changes
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
