- $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and supportive individual to provide care for an autistic young adult. The hours are from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday through Sunday.
Hailey is a 23 year old adult female with autism and epilepsy. She is able to be mostly independent. She is verbal and is mobile. But with her brain damage, she cannot be completely on her own as she has a learning delayment. She will be on summer break from her adult school that teaches her daily living tasks in 2 weeks. She is used to her daily routine of waking up early with plans. She enjoys going out walking around stores, going to arcades, movies, parks, etc. She’d need someone who can help her to feel a little bit of independence as an adult to go out and do these tasks.
The ideal candidate will be open to gain experience working with an individual on the autism spectrum and possess a genuine passion for helping others. Responsibilities may include assisting with daily activities, providing companionship, and encouraging social interactions. A mode of transportation will be needed.
We value patience, creativity, and a positive attitude, as well as the ability to adapt to the unique needs of the individual. If you are dedicated to making a difference in someone's life and fostering a supportive environment.
Hailey usually takes medication at 1:30pm.
Someone with knowledge of autism or a behavior therapy background is a plus but not required
