My wife and I are retired and we care for our 23 year old Autistic son. We were hoping to take a trip to the east coast for 7 days to visit our other son. If possible we would like to take other trips. We are looking for someone who could stay at our home and watch our son. He does have an aba therapist who comes for 5 hours a day Monday - Friday. Our son has some verbal skills and is able to shower, and get dressed on his own. He also does his own laundry and helps clean the house. He likes to hang out at home except for a trip to get fast food once per day. The ideal candidate would be someone who has worked with autistic kids as a classroom aid.
