Presented by Family Concierge: A warm family in the Poway area is excited to welcome a thoughtful and consistent afternoon caregiver for their 2&5yr olds. This is a wonderful opportunity for a team player who also values independence in a role! Care is needed starting mid-August, M-F from approximately 1 pm-5 pm, with some flexibility on start/stop so long as school pickup can be covered. Availability to occasionally cover morning school dropoffs would be a huge plus! The family is happy to set a floor of 20 hrs per week if of interest, and would love to discuss schedule adjustments that might make the role work for the right candidate--please get in touch.

Responsibilities include afternoon pickups from school/daycare, meal prep/snacks, light housekeeping related to kids (kids' laundry, tidying play areas, rotate toys, etc.), and engaging in fun, age-appropriate activities as the kiddos end their day! House tasks can be completed while their 5yr receives in-home therapy for his ASD.

The ideal caregiver is CPR/First Aid certified and has experience with caring for multiple children as well as a reliable car and a clean driving record. The family is looking for someone self-motivated and proactive in addition to fond of children. Their 5yr old son is very easy-going and gentle; he is also nonverbal and will need someone who will join them in seeking to understand his care needs through alternative forms of communication. Family has one large dog, so must be comfortable with dogs as well.
