This position involves meeting my daughter off the school bus and caring for her in our home until I return. Duties include engaging with her, serving pre-prepared meals, and providing support with hygiene and daily routines. She has developmental delays and needs consistent reminders and assistance, so patience and a nurturing approach are essential.

We have two friendly dogs in the home. This is a part-time role during the school year, with potential for longer (up to 9-hour) days in the summer. Summer employment requires vetting through a sitter agency, which handles payment and may include sitter and respite hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with children, especially those with developmental delays or special needs
Patient, reliable, and attentive
Comfortable assisting with hygiene and personal care
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
Comfortable around dogs
Strong communication skills
