My partner needs an IHSS provider. They are an adult with autism, POTS, chronic pain, and a few other chronic health conditions that make it hard to manage daily tasks on their own. They need someone to come to our home and help with shopping, meal prep, cleaning, and driving them to doctors appointments. Must be queer friendly, ok with cats, and very patient. Ideally already familiar with neurodivergent care needs.

During bad health flareups, they loose their balance easily and might ask for help moving around (e. g. holding onto your arm for a walk around the block.) Otherwise, they are physically independent. They don't need help with bathing, going to the bathroom, dressing, etc. No medication administration or other specialized medical care either. (Although help sorting pills/requesting refills would be good.)

We prefer a set schedule, but the specific days/times are flexible. 10-20 hours per week paid through IHSS.
