We are looking for a part-time one-on-one classroom aide/support person for our 3.5-year-old son at his private preschool in Rancho Bernardo. He is super sweet, kind, silly, and loves to play. He does have speech delays and is not yet able to communicate at the same level as his classmates, but he really thrives with one-on-one support and engagement from an adult.

He does not have any behavioral issues, he is very loving and happy and but because he has difficulty expressing himself verbally, we believe he would greatly benefit from having individualized support within the school setting to help encourage communication, engagement, and participation throughout the day.

We are looking for someone 4 days per week from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM.

This role would include supporting him during:
* Open play in the classroom
* Outdoor/playground time
* Classroom activities and transitions

We are looking for someone warm, patient, playful, and engaging who will actively talk, interact, and promote language and communication through play and everyday activities.

He currently attends OT and speech therapy outside of school.

Experience or education in any of the following is a major plus:
* Speech therapy
* Occupational therapy
* Child development
* Early childhood education
* Working with developmental or speech delays

Must be able to provide the following for school clearance:
* Background Clearance / Livescan
* Negative TB Test
* Immunization Record
