Immediate need for occasional caregiver for 14 year-old disabled girl
Posted by Molly H. on 8/8/2026
- $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Hello,
My daughter is recovering from major surgery and won't be returning to school for another month or two. We need extra help while she's at home. Medical or nursing experience a plus but not required.
The ideal candidate would be:
-CPR certified
-experienced with special needs children or young adults
-willing to work on PT/OT exercises (we'll train you)
-willing to assist with transfers in/out of bed, chair, etc.
She is a sweet girl who loves being read to, listening to music, and taking walks in the neighborhood. She needs help with eating and wears diapers. She is also nonverbal, but is learning to use an AAC device for communication.
Salary is based on experience, starting at $30/hr. Hours and days are very flexible, but we probably need 10-12 hrs per week total. Opportunity to continue working with her even after she returns to school, just different hours.
Thank you!
