We are looking for a part time female caregiver for my teenage daughter with cerebral palsy who is also blind. S is a spirited kid who loves to laugh and have fun with her assistant. S prefers a female assistant in their 20-30s. Typical daily tasks include: Helping with transfers from point A to point B (ex, wheelchair to bed), Toileting/changing, Showering, and Occasional light meal prep. Homework along with potential assistance during swim class at Saddleback. Our ideal caregiver would be kind, upbeat, fun-loving, and patient with a love of music, Disney and the arts. They will also need to be healthy and able to lift 50 pounds while transferring S. Prior experience with durable medical equipment would be an added bonus, but not necessary. Must be willing to get CPR and First Aid certified. Pay range is $25/hr with flexible schedule.
