Our 11 year old has autism and ADHD, is bright, energetic, and chatty, and has several special interests. We have a few caregivers that have been with us for several years, and occasionally we need some back-up help in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends. We are looking for someone who is calm, creative, genuinely enjoys having conversations with kids, skilled at helping children with emotional regulation, and ideally has a car and/or able to take public transportation (one of our child's special interests). Must be supportive of the LGBTQ+ community as our child is non-binary. Training/experience working with children with special needs is preferred.
