I’m a mom of a 13-year-old autistic daughter who is low verbal. In the past, I used respite care, but the difficult part is that a different person comes almost every time. Since my daughter doesn’t communicate much verbally, I have to explain everything again and again, and it’s very hard for new caregivers to understand her gestures and moods.

I’m really looking for a more stable and consistent option — someone who can come regularly and truly get to know my daughter. If anyone knows of good agencies, services, or trustworthy caregivers experienced with autism, I would be very grateful for your recommendations.
