Seeking a live-in adult care provider/roommate for a 43-year-old male with Down syndrome in Yorba Linda.
We are seeking a dependable and personable individual to serve as a live-in roommate and assistant for adult son who has Down Syndrome.
All rent and utilities are provided at no cost to you, and you will receive a monthly stipend of $1,300. This position is part-time, and you are welcome to pursue additional employment outside of your responsibilities here.
Primary support needs
• Help staying physically active
• Meal preparation
• Companionship and social interaction
• Transportation as needed
Typical schedule/availability
• Morning: 8:00–9:00 a.m. (1 hour) time is flexible
• Client is away: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Evening: dinner and companionship, 5:00–7:30 p.m.
• Overnight: you may relax and sleep at the residence
• Client is away Thursday night and Sunday night
Weekend requirement
• Most Saturdays: spend at least 6 hours doing a fun leisure activity together (expenses provided for rips/activities)
