I am looking for a reliable, calm, and patient caregiver to support my 12-year-old son. He is autistic and non-verbal, and he needs a high level of supervision. He is a loving and unique kid who thrives with structure and guidance, and someone who can help him feel safe in his environment.

Because of his support needs, including occasional aggressive behaviors, it is not currently safe for me to care for him alone. I am looking for someone who can come into our home weekly and work alongside me so I can spend more meaningful time with him. You would never be alone with him unless you’re comfortable and trained to do so — your presence is to help keep everyone safe and supported.

What I’m Looking For
• Someone patient, grounded, and confident.
• Experience with autism, behavioral needs, special education, ABA, or similar is helpful but not required if you’re willing to learn.
• Comfortable supporting a kid who is tall for his age (about 5ft 9in).
• Someone who can build rapport through calm presence, redirection, and supportive interaction.
