Our 12 year old has severe ADHD. My parents used to watch him, but he's too much for them now. We need someone who has experience with a child that needs constant redirection, struggles with "must dos", and turns everything into a science project to make it more interesting. He might need help getting homework done after school or simply cleaning up after playing with a toy. He is easily distracted and needs constant reminders to eat. He has evening medications and needs some hand holding to get ready for bed. We're looking for two types of support. First, is getting him off the school van (comes to our house around 2:30pm) and watching him until my wife get's home from work around 5:00pm. This would be twice per week and only the weeks I travel. Second scenario would be an occasional evening so we could go out. Maybe a dinner with friends. Our son is a handful but he's also brilliant.
