I am looking for some help with child care on school vacation days and half days during the school year. This person has to be kind, gentle and patient. I have a 5 year old daughter who is diagnosed with Autism, PICA and elopement and a son who is 8 with an ADHD diagnosis. My son’s needs are very minimal he’s independent and can verbalize his needs. For my daughter I do need someone who can assist with every 2-3 hour diaper changes depending on her frequency that day. She is non verbal and not potty trained. I would love for someone who has experience with handling communication through an AAC device as that is what I use with her to communicate. Possibly some slight knowledge on sign language as well, she can sign “more” and “open”. Lastly meal preparation is a must, example would be simple things like pancakes and bacon.
