We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant to serve as a part-time Memory Care Companion for a private client in a memory care facility in the Wilmington, DE area. This position follows a Monday through Friday split schedule, with morning hours from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and evening hours from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, totaling 20 hours per week, though candidates interested in only one shift are encouraged to apply. The CNA will provide person-centered care, assisting with ADLS such as personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming, while supporting both morning and evening routines to ensure the client’s comfort. Responsibilities also include monitoring nutrition, engaging in meaningful activities like conversation, games, and music, accompanying her on walks, and offering consistent companionship and emotional support. The ideal candidate will have an active CNA certification, experience with dementia or memory impairment, and the ability to pass a background check.
