Seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver/companion for an elderly man recovering from a severe stroke suffered in March.

He has lost speech and has limited mobility but understands conversations and can respond by nodding yes or no. He recognizes family and familiar faces, and his memory is intact. He is impaired on his right side, including hearing, vision, and arm movement.

After rehab, he was able to walk about 150 steps with a walker, but he still needs assistance with mobility, restroom use, and personal care. He is currently at home and needs an adult companion to stay with him, help monitor his safety, and ensure he is cared for.
