After School Help

Posted by Diane P. on 9/7/2026

  • $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Needs would consist of making sure the 2 neuro typical girls get home from the bus (they walk) and Emma (age 8) is picked up from her bus in the front of the house and safely walks home. She has a routine but needs help following the steps before she runs through the house. Take of shoes, harness, go potty, wash hands and eat snacks then play. Her siblings ages 10 and 8 are very independent so they only need help with reminders to clean up after themselves and do their homework/ showers etc. I would need our nanny to prepare Emma’s snack for her, make sure she doesn’t get into any of the other rooms, or outside (doors are child proof) play with her, and then clean up anything that was taken out before leaving. Usually my husband will be home by 4 unless he has to stay late at work.

I would like someone with previous experience in dealing with children with disabilities especially non verbal, bonus points if familiar with Angelman syndrome.
