I am looking for a reliable, patient, and compassionate caregiver to watch my two sons, ages 3 and 4. Both boys are on the autism spectrum, are not yet potty trained, and are currently working on speech apraxia. Experience with autism care, supporting speech development, and working with nonverbal or minimally verbal children is highly preferred.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Supervising the children at all times in a safe and caring manner

Assisting with feeding and snacks/meals

Changing diapers and helping with basic hygiene

Engaging in play, sensory activities, and simple learning games appropriate for their needs

Supporting their speech therapy goals through simple communication exercises and patience

Keeping a calm, understanding approach during meltdowns or sensory overload

Light clean-up after activities and meals

Requirements:

Prior experience with children with autism or special needs (preferred)

Familiarity with speech apraxia and supporting speech development (preferred)

CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)

Reliable transportation to and from our home

Must be comfortable with diaper changing for older children

Patient, nurturing, and dependable
