Seeking part-time caregiver near Walnut Grove for my 23-year old young adult male child with special needs. Job duties include taking him on outings in caregiver's own vehicle 3 days a week, few hours each day, to venues such as local grocery and department stores, parks, and theatres. Other duities include caregiving in the client's home, which consists of supervising and assisting with most activities of daily living. Training will be provided. Caregiver must be friendly, patient, compassionate, and interactive. Must have prior experience in caring for older children and/or adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Must be a non-smoker, comfortable with pets, and CPR/First Aid certified. Caregiver must have own transportation, hold a valid, unrestricted driver's license, and have a clean driving record. Must pass background check. Schedule and start date are both flexible.
