We are seeking a friendly, compassionate, and service-oriented person to provide daily support and assistance to a 30-year-old man with autism. In this role, you will work closely with him to help him meaningfully navigate his day including going to the gym, hiking/walking, doing his chores and engaging in leisure activities. Additionally, you will provide a sense of companionship while helping him navigate his other activities in his home and community. This position is ideal for any person who enjoys working directly with others and wants to make a positive impact in the life of a person with a disability.
While this job is a full-time job, it can be broken into part-time segments and may be a good fit for students in programs such as special education, social work, psychology, as well as occupational, physical, and speech therapy
