Daily Care Giver For Disabled Woman

Posted by Cory J. on 5/12/2025

  • $20.00 per hour

My sister has a form of epilepsy called CDXL5. My parents have been caring for her without assistance her entire life of 43 years. She needs care similar to a baby, including feeding, clothing, bathing, diaper changes, and companionship. She is unable to walk or talk, but she certainly has her own personality! She enjoys being rocked back and forth in her wheelchair and being pushed around in the sun =)
She also has a 2x daily dose of medications that are all taken orally mixed with her food.

My parents are aging and running into medical issues themselves, strength limitations, and overall fatigue from a lifetime of caring for her. They don't require care for themselves, but need a break and some daily assistance for my sister to keep life running smoothly.
