Autism-Savvy Evening Sitter Needed (Tues/Thurs ~5 – 9 p.m.)
Posted by William Y. on 5/14/2025

- $30.00 per hour

We’re seeking a calm, caring sitter to support our sons—Josh (24) and Cameron (13), both on the autism spectrum—on occasional Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Mom will be home attending online classes; your role is to:
• prepare simple dinners/snacks
• encourage gentle play, conversation, or LEGO/video-game fun
• provide basic supervision and positive reinforcement
• take quick backyard breaks with our two friendly dogs (so pet-comfort is a must!)
The boys are largely self-sufficient: Josh enjoys routine and electronics, while Cameron loves creative play and games. We value reliability, clear communication, and respect for neurodiversity. Experience with autism or special needs is a plus, but a patient, inclusive mindset matters most.
If you’re dependable, upbeat, and ready to lend an extra set of hands, we’d love to meet you!
