In need of a personal assistant available weekdays from 10-4 to assist twenty-something that has quadriplegic cerebral palsy. Uses power wheelchair, adapted vehicle and has modifications in home to assist in being as independent as possible. Daily duties include but are not limited to assisting with showering daily, cleaning and swiffering room/bathroom, dusting her room, putting away clothing and linens, laundry and vacuuming her room. Other tasks, emptying trash, cleaning dishes, preparing breakfast and lunch and walking dogs. Requires minimal assistance with feeding (depending on the food). Needs food cut up into bite sized pieces. Driving to errands and appointments using our wheelchair van. You must be on time, reliable to show up on committed days and dedicated to providing support while you are here. Ensure person, wheelchair, bedding is clean. Required CPR and first aid training.
