Traveling for work in mid December; my 19 year old son is high functioning autistic and need someone in the home from 2pm till bedtime to ensure he is safe. He is pretty self sufficient, but will be helpful to have someone to ensure he eats, doesn't burn down the house, takes his medicine. Some transportation may be helpful if he wants to go get ice cream or get out of the house for an hour. Helpful to have someone who understands his more-like 12-year-old brain functioning. He also has ADHD and some intellectual disabilities.
