We are seeking a dependable, patient, and compassionate non-live-in nanny for our 8-year-old son with autism in Matteson, IL. We are looking for someone with experience working with autistic children or children with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include providing childcare and support with activities of daily living such as hygiene, dressing, grooming, toileting as needed, meal routines, and building independence. The caregiver will also help with age-appropriate household responsibilities, cleaning up after activities, organizing belongings, following daily routines, and supporting transitions and sensory needs. We are looking for someone who is reliable, patient, safety-conscious, and genuinely enjoys helping children develop life skills. Experience as a special-needs nanny, RBT/behavior technician, special education paraprofessional, or similar experience is preferred.
