Before And/or After School Care - Before School: 6:45 - 8:15; After School: 2:30 - 3:30/4:00
We have 2 boys (soon to be 12 and 14), both of whom have been diagnosed with autism. They are both non-verbal and use communication devices. They are sweet kids who love to run around the backyard and watch Sesame Street.
We need someone in the morning from 6:45 - 8:15 and in the afternoon from 2:30 - 3:30/4:00. We would love for the same person to handle the morning and the afternoon, but we are more than willing to have different people.
In the morning, the caregiver would need to wake the boys up, get them breakfast, help get them dressed, and on the bus. We typically have the kids' backpacks completely packed and outfits ready to go.
In the afternoon, the caregiver would need to get the boys off the bus and help with snacks. The boys get to relax until (in-home) therapy begins or until Dad gets home.
