We are actively seeking a part-time caretaker for our 1 child in Vernon Hills. My son is an autistic teenager, so we need someone who has experience with older kids and preferably someone who is comfortable with special needs. The candidate will wait for the transportation to drop off our son at home in Vernon Hills after school in the afternoon and will care for him until his mom gets home from work. We need someone who can care for our son at least 4 days during the work week. Duties may include light meal prep, helping with activities of daily living, outside activities, etc. My son may elope, so safety supervision is required. Redirection is needed when protesting non-preferred task. Must go through Clearbrook for training including physical, drug test and DSP training.
